Sammy stick seminar

On Saturday, February 7th Stronger You hosted a seminar on self defense with a sammy stick. This little stick was fashioned after the kubaton and pocket stick but is lighter and thinner and made of plastic. It holds keys like a kubaton but doesn't look like a weapon. The stick and the course were created by Sensei Terry. I helped him with the demonstrations of the techniques. At the end, we attached balloons to the sticks to simulate keys and used them to strike with safety. Twenty-five students attended.

Defendo photo session

The last 2 weeks we've been taking pictures for the Defendo page of the Stronger You website. This week we actually did some posing. The results speak for themselves.

New Year
